Northwest Oregon/Southwest Washington Forest Owners' Field Day

Saturday, August 28th, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Plas Newydd Tree Farm, Ridgefield, WA

The Forest Owners' Field Day has been a longtime summer ritual for Washington State woodland owners. This year's event, held just over the state line in Ridgefield, is a great opportunity for Oregonians to get in on the action!

Whether you own a "home in the woods" or many acres of forest land, this educational event is packed with practical how-to information to help you plan and execute sound forest stewardship practices.

During the full-day event, you may participate in a variety of educational programs, talk with presenters about your specific questions, browse vendors and displays, and enjoy a day in the woods.

Advance registration is $20/person or $30/two or more from the same group. For all the details, see the attached brochure. I hope you'll plan to attend, and bring along a neighbor!

As several of you know, I used to work for the Department of Natural Resources in Washington State, and I had a chance to help set up and teach at these Field Days.  They were often one of the highlights of my summer and I highly recommend that you try to attend this event.  It is well worth it.  Hope to see you there!
